I know ive had this dream before, when i was young everyon3 was now but now im an adult and all the kids are grown into adult bodies, they are still act like kids. Most of everyone is playing on the playground, a few kids ran past to go to a dairy queen. While tunning to the dairy queen, up a short hill with trees, i see what might be a wake with wax figures as dead people in the glass coffin. Alive people are crying and mouring over them, there are two alive people there. I pay it no mind and run to the dairy queen. There right next to eachother. The dq looks like a 1950s diner without the tables. I got inline to get an icecream only to realise i dont have enough money, icecream costs 5 coins I only have 3-4. Some girl(now an adult acting as a child, was once a child in a dream before) i connected that she was also mouring the people outside and that she was sad she didnt have coins for an icecream cake. So i gave her mind, get got the cake she wanted and left with her dad. I stayed in the DQ for a bit. Someone offered to pay for my icecream but they left right after saying it. So i left and ran down the hill a bit to go play with the others, only to realise i want my icecream so i start to walk up the hill again. I see a dead tree but pay atenttion to the ground which has broken plastic all around the tree, and a pretty ring on the grown. I look at the plastic but pretty ring, put it on my thumb then look into the dead tree. I see a rotting corspe of a girl in there. Shes wearing a princess gown but its all worn down from her rotting in the tree. She has a magic wand in her hand. I make note in my head not to look at her to long as i start fearfully run crawling up the hill. Flashing blurrly scary images flash up covering my view and i keep crawling scared up the hill. Something in there about a rake being the murder weapon. I crawl up the top of the hill to try ans confront the Dairy queen worker lady likes shes the one who did it, she smiles at me and i wake up.
Dreams often serve as mirrors of our subconscious thoughts, feelings, and experiences. In your dream, several themes stand out that may provide insight into its meaning.
Childhood and Innocence: The presence of children acting like kids, even as adults, may symbolize a longing for simpler times or a reminder of the innocence of your past. You might be grappling with the responsibilities of adulthood and reflecting on how carefree childhood felt.
Loss and Mourning: The wake with wax figures and the people mourning could represent feelings of grief or loss in your life. This could relate to actual loss or it could symbolize the loss of your youth, innocence, or even certain relationships. Your subconscious may be processing emotions related to change and the passage of time.
Desire and Lack: Your desire for ice cream but finding you don’t have enough money reflects feelings of inadequacy or unfulfilled desires. You wanting to enjoy something simple (like ice cream) signifies yearning for pleasure and indulgence, while your financial limitation may point to concerns over control or scarcity in your life.
Compassion and Connection: By helping another person with the ice cream cake, you’re demonstrating empathy and kindness. This could suggest that you value connection with others and find fulfillment in helping those who are struggling.
Fear and Danger: The imagery of the dead tree, the rotting corpse of a girl in a princess gown, and the mention of a murder weapon invoke feelings of fear and unresolved issues. It could represent something in your life that feels threatening or a part of your past that you fear confronting. The "dead princess" can symbolize lost potential or dreams that have decayed over time.
Confrontation and Accountability: Climbing back up the hill to confront the Dairy Queen worker may reflect a desire to confront something troubling in your waking life. This could be a challenge, a person, or an aspect of yourself that needs addressing.
Overall, this dream may illustrate a conflict between nostalgia for the past and the realities of adult responsibilities, the need to confront unresolved feelings about loss and fear, and the interplay of compassion and empathy in your interactions. Reflecting on these themes may help you understand your feelings and experiences more deeply as you navigate your current life situation.
